What we collect, and what we do with it
Last updated 8 August 2026.
This covers audit.ongkrong.com, where Ongkrong Consulting runs its free assessments. It is written to describe what the software actually does, not what a policy template says. If you want anything below explained or acted on, email motta.thong@ongkrong.com.
What you give us
You can read every page and answer every question without telling us who you are. We ask for your contact details in 1 place: the form at the end, before we show your result. Some assessments also ask which seat you hold before the questions start, and all of them offer a few optional questions on the results page. Those are optional and you can skip them.
- Your first and last name, email address and phone number.
- Your answers to the assessment, and the score we calculate from them.
- Anything you type into the optional free-text question.
- Which seat you hold, your industry, team size and how you would prefer to buy, if you answer the optional questions.
- A priority label we work out from your score, which we use to decide who to follow up with first.
We do not ask for, and have no way to receive, payment details.
We also read your IP address briefly, in memory, to stop the form being abused. We do not store it.
What we record before that
From the moment you open an assessment we record which step you reached and when, against a random identifier your browser holds for the visit. On its own that record says only that somebody moved through the assessment. It carries no name, email, phone number or answers.
If you go on to submit the form, we can connect those steps to you, because your record keeps the same identifier. If you never submit, nothing ever connects them to a person.
What we do with it
- Work out your score and show you your result.
- Write the tailored suggestions that come with it.
- Email you your result and report.
- Contact you about it, by email or by phone if you gave a number.
- Send you further emails about our services, which you can stop at any time.
Who else handles it
We do not sell your details. We do share them with the providers that run this service and the tools we use to reply to you. This is the list.
- Resend, in the United States, sends your result email.
- Railway, in Singapore, hosts this site and the database your record is stored in.
- Anthropic, in the United States, writes your tailored suggestions. We send it your score, the band it falls in, every area you were scored on with the band each fell in, the seat you selected, and your industry, team size and free-text answer if you gave them. We do not send it your name, email address or phone number.
- Instantly, in the United States, sends our outbound email. If you consented, the details on your record may be loaded into it so we can follow up: your name, email address, phone number, industry, team size, your free-text answer, your score and answers, and the priority label we work out from your score.
- Google, which hosts the Ongkrong mailboxes your details are emailed to when you submit, and where your replies to us arrive.
- Calendly, in the United States, takes your booking if you book a call.
Each of them handles your details only to do the job named above, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.
Cookies and what your browser stores
We set no cookies on the pages you use, and we run no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser does store a few things itself: a random identifier for the visit, so we can tell which step you reached; a copy of your answers and your note as you go, so a reload does not lose your progress; and, after you submit, small markers that stop us replaying the score animation or re-asking the optional questions. Most disappear when you close the tab. 1 marker stays until you clear your browser data. Clearing your browser data removes all of them.
Your result link
Your result, report and suggestions are unlocked by a single long, unguessable code in the web address we email you. There is no password: anyone holding that address can open them, so treat it as private and think before forwarding it. The address does not expire. We tell search engines not to index those pages and we ask crawlers to leave them alone, but neither of those is a lock. If you want the link killed, ask us to delete your record and it stops working immediately.
How long we keep it
We keep your record for 24 months from when you gave us your details, or from the last email we sent you, whichever is later. Then we delete it automatically. A monthly job does this; it is not something anyone has to remember.
When your record is deleted, your result link stops working and cannot be restored.
2 things outlast it, on purpose. The step-by-step record described above stays, because with your record gone there is nothing left to tie it to you. And if you unsubscribe, we keep a note of that forever, because it is the only proof we have that you asked us to stop.
Stopping our emails
Every email we send you carries a 1-click unsubscribe link. Using it stops the emails this site sends you.
If you are also receiving email from one of our outbound campaigns, tell us and we will take you off that too. Reply to any of our emails or write to motta.thong@ongkrong.com and we will action it.
Getting a copy, or having it deleted
Email motta.thong@ongkrong.com and ask. We will ask you to confirm you are the person the record belongs to, so we do not hand somebody's details to somebody else, and we will do it within 30 days. There is no charge.
Deleting is permanent. It removes your name, contact details, answers, score and result link.
